I have two very active children, Boy-1 and Girl-3. So with them along with community and religious responsibilities I don't have a ton of spare time. So we have decided to rotate our kids toys and only keep a few out at a time. It makes my life easier and the kids succeed at cleaning their rooms every day. The kids also enjoy playing with toys they haven't seen in a while. It's a win-win situation!

I’ve found success buying a “lot” of clothes for my baby on eBay. Folks will package up like 5 or more outfits of the same size for a season and you can get them for a steal. One time, I got 40 pieces of clothing for $30… Not all the pieces were the style I liked. But you always need spare outfits!

Love this Product: "EZ-Link" from fisher-price. This plug and play "device" plugs into your computer. Put one of the characters into the slot and you are taken instantly to that character's website. At the website your child will have access to all of the games and activities on that website only. However all other functions of your computer are blocked. This is very helpful if you have a young child who just likes to press buttons and often ends up in other parts of your computer or printing your documents. In my home we sometimes leave the computer parked at a character site just for the child blocking features. It is great!

recipe of the week

10 cloves garlic, chopped

2 lemons, juiced

1/2 cup olive oil

2 teaspoons curry powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoon ground pepper

5 drops yellow food coloring, optional

2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

4 pieces pita bread

1 tomato, chopped

Shawarma Sauce, recipe follows

To make the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the garlic, lemon juice, and oil. Add curry powder, salt, pepper, and food coloring and whisk to combine. Add chicken and coat with marinade. Marinate chicken overnight in the refrigerator.

Preheat a grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade. Grill chicken for about 10 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through. Serve chicken on pita and top with tomatoes and Shawarma Sauce.

Shawarma Sauce:

3 cloves garlic

1 cup store-bought tahini

3 cups water

1/2 cup lemon juice

Salt

Add garlic to the bowl of a food processor and process until chopped. Add tahini and pulse to combine. With the machine running, slowly add cold water until frothy. Add lemon juice and mix until creamy. Season with salt, to taste.
